Prices

• Prices listed in this catalog are for the trade only and cancel all previous price lists.
• All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Terms

• All prices are shown F.O.B. River Valley Nursery; any delivery costs are at an additional cost.
• All orders are C.O.D.  Established, reliable customers will be issued net 30 days credit.
• All orders are subject to River Valley Nursery acceptance and confirmation.
• All B & B orders require a 30% deposit before digging. A final payment is due upon receipt of all plants picked up or delivered.
• Orders of less than 10 trees may be subject to a 10.00 per tree extra charge.
• Hand digging will incur a 20% extra charge.
• Wire baskets are used for all machine dug plants unless otherwise noted.
• A maintenance charge will apply for plants not picked up after 10 days after purchaser is notified for pick up.
• Plants tagged may be re-sold by us if a deposit is not received within 10 days on your acceptance of your order.
• Summer digging adds an additional 20% charge to the original cost of the plant. We may need a two to three week notice to Bio-plex and allow the plants to harden off.

Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping may be arranged on request.
• Purchaser assumes all risk and expense of shipping and is responsible for all freight charges.

Pick up:

• Orders can be picked up by appointment, during our regular business hours: 8:00 am—4:45pm.

Monday-Friday. Your order may need to be assessed for proper moisture content to assure proper        transit (pertains to B & B stock).

• We prefer not to ship excessively wet B & B plant material but, if necessary, customer accepts responsibility for any damage.
• Trailers may be dropped off ahead of time for loading.
• We are not responsible for plants once they are loaded on your truck or trailer since we have no control of plants after they leave this nursery.
• We strongly recommend that all plant material be thoroughly covered in open trucks.

• Purchaser must bring proper and/or adequate tarpaulins tie down ropes, etc.

Payment:

• Final payment is due when part/full order is received by the purchaser.
• Interest charges on accounts over 30 days is computed at 1.5% per month (18% per annum.)
• A  $40.00 charge will be added for any returned checks.
• NJ Sales Tax will be added to all orders unless a signed (ST-3) resale certificate is supplied.

 

Care:

• After receiving nursery stock, immediately uncover to prevent sunscald on foliage.
• Plants should be unloaded, untied, stood up and healed in (or planted), and watered thoroughly. Space plants 
• Do not wet foliage in the hot sun.

Claims/Guarantee:

• Nursery stock is true to variety to the best of our knowledge. We buy grafted plants from around the world and depend on our suppliers to provide plants true to name. We have large specimen plants that we have collected for the past 30 years that may not have been identified correctly.
• We will not be held responsible for more than the purchase price of each item purchased.
